“11x17”

Designed by Orquidea Campbell-Espinoza for the 2023 Artwork for Equity Campaign.

_

The illustration depicts a powerful and evocative message of voter equity through a simple yet meaningful composition of three hands. Held within these hands are ballots, the cornerstone of the democratic system.

The ballots are identical, emphasizing the equal weight and value of each vote, regardless of which hand casts it. At its core, this artwork symbolizes the fundamental democratic principle that every individual's voice matters, regardless of their background.
