Letter-writing is an effective way to connect and communicate with our community, including the representatives we have elected. As constituents, we can use personal and persuasive letters to let these officials know how we feel about issues in our communities and the decisions they have made to address them. By sharing our experiences, observations, and opinions, we can persuade an official to leverage their decision-making power to help redesign systems for racial, ethnic, and health equity. Creative Reaction Lab believes that meaningful action and accountability from our elected officials is necessary to achieve transformative change in our society.
